IFEAT Conference Vancouver 2021: “Return in presence”
Back to normal, this was the dominant thought at the IFEAT 2022 conference Vancouver three years after Nusa Dua in Bali in 2019.
926 delegates attended the event together with 36 accompanying persons and the presence of 557 companies representing 59 countries. Five unforgettable days in one venue. The Westin Bayshore hotel did not disappoint.
Delegates could follow many lectures, particularly interesting and incisive as the one of Henry Gill, a new member of the IFEAT committee , on how the flavor and fragrance industry can be affected by the market and what strategies to approach.

As in previous years, the 2021 Budget was approved; the President Hussein Fakhry of the Outgoing Executive Committee reviewed the previous year's activities. New members of the EC, John Cavallo and Henry Gill were elected at the AGM and Catherine Crowley was elected new Chairwoman, she will be assisted by Geemon Korah as vice-chair for the next 3 years .
During the final day, the venue of the next IFEAT conference was announced , the InterContinental Hotel in Berlin, Germany with the theme 'Commerce, tradition, modern spirit' will host the next conference from 8 to 12 October 2023The Vancouver conference was also entertainment, enjoyed by all delegates.
Even the eagerly awaited study tours have retarted their activities, the next appointment will take place in Spain, announced by Sofia Lluch, from February 26 to March 1, 2023.
